Your Open Table Space allows you to have flexible access to the studio at a time that best suits you. It is for potters who feel isolated working on their own, to meet and exchange their talent and experiences amongst fellow enthusiasts whilst having their own space and access to all the facilities that the studio has to offer.
To be a part of the Open Tables, potters who use the space should have a reasonable knowledge of ceramics making and the processes involved. Whilst it is not a space for full-time potters, part-time potters with a range of talents attend to make it an all-round creative community.
There is always a teacher on site to help, support and advise where needed.
Your table space includes friendly help and advice, shelf space and refreshments, as well as the following listed equipment:
A great selection of tools, brushes, sponges and everything else that you could need:
- High-quality turning wheels
- A Slab roller
- A glaze area with wide range of stoneware glazes
- A Raku kiln and two large top-loader kittex kilns
- All sizes and shapes of moulds
- An Extruder
- A fantastic library full of inspiration
Unfortunately, further open table memberships are suspended at present due to the high volume of classes being taught. Please contact us if you would like to join a waiting list for when they resume.
