Print Transfer Taster
Make a vase and small dish in clay, then decorate them with coloured slips and print transfer illustrations.
Whether you are completely new to clay or keen to try a different decorating technique, then this is a lovely way to spend a few creative hours.
Your tutors for this workshop are Lara Gorlach and Lisa Jones.
During this three hour workshop you will be guided and supported throughout by tutors Lara and Lisa, who will show you how to make a bud vase and small dish from stoneware clay.
Once the shape is finished, you will be able to lightly decorate it in a range of coloured slips, then choosing from a generous range of underglaze transfers, you will learn how to apply them to your pieces to really bring them alive!
Each piece is fired and glazed and will be ready to collect from the studio around three weeks after the workshop.
There will be a short refreshment break halfway though the session.

These taster workshop provide a wonderful opportunity for family and friends to come together, have fun and enjoy creating something unique.
Open to adults 16+. Price includes the firing and refreshments. Please bring an apron with you or wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little messy.
