Drum Lampshade Workshop
Learn how to make a drum lampshade in this 3hr workshop.
A chance to use that wonderful piece of fabric you have been holding on to, or for our weekly class students to make something special that suits the lamp base you have made.
Your tutors for this workshop are Lara Gorlach and Lisa Jones.
During this 3 hour workshop you will learn how to make your own lampshade for a ceiling pendant or table lamp. The drum shade size is 25cm, with a choice of 20 or 25cm height.
Lara and Lisa will provide a step-by-step demonstration. Full guidance and support will be given during the workshop, making sure you enjoy the process and helping you to compete your unique lampshade to take home.
We recommend using a light to medium weight fabric, either cotton, poly/cotton or linen/cotton mix. Please make sure to bring your own fabric. It must measure at least 100cm wide by 35cm high.

This lampshade workshop is open to adults (16+) and is suitable for all abilities, including beginners.
