You will learn how to weave a frame basket, using a pre-formed steam bent willow hoop and ribs.
DAY ONE
On the Saturday we will cover material preparation and selection. You will learn how to set in the preformed Willow ribs. You will then start to weave the basket. Each willow weaver is placed in the basket and woven around the ribs and wrapped around the willow hoop, creating a simple, beautiful piece.
DAY TWO
On the Sunday you will continue to weave your frame basket, getting into a rhythm with the process of weaving and wrapping, then finishing your basket with an optional leather loop for hanging or displaying.
